Israel is a diverse country that prides itself on inclusion and freedom of speech. In this evening of film and conversation, Isaac Zablocki, Director of the Israel Film Center in Manhattan, will explore the lives of several groups in Israel (including Ethiopians, Russians, LGBQT and others) using clips from some of today's most popular Israeli movies.

We'll talk about issues like absorption, assimilation, love, dating and and other complexities of modern day life, as well as the basics of the Israeli film industry.
